CBSE 12th Result 2025 Update: The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce the results of Class 12th soon. The board exams for class 12th were conducted between February 15, 2025, to April 4, 2025, for all streams. Now, the results will be declared in the 1st week of May 2025 as notified by the CBSE board.

CBSE 12th Result 2025 Date
CBSE Board notified us that the CBSE 12th Result 2025 will be released in May 2025. The exams were completed on 4th April 2025 for all the three streams (art, science, and commerce). It was observed in the previous year that it took 3–4 weeks to check the answer sheets and prepare the results. The students can expect the results anytime in the 1st week of May 2025.
The staff members of CBSE are checking the answer sheets. Once the results are out, CBSE will notify the students through the official website results.cbse.nic.in.
CBSE Previous Year Result
Last year, the passing percentage was quite fine. Around 87.98% of students passed the Class 12 examination all over the country. Girls performed better than boys and led the scoreboard. The total passing percentage of girls was 91.52%. On the other hand, the total passing percentage of boys was 85.12%.

The students can take their marksheet from the schools. This marksheet is officially issued by CBSE. Also, they can download the marksheet from the official site when the results are out. The details on the marksheet include name of the student, date of birth, parents’ details, marks obtained in each subject, and division based on the qualification status.
CBSE Class 12th Passing Marks
The Central Board Of Secondary Education has provided the qualifying criteria. Students need to score a minimum of 33% in every subject. The marks of practical exams and written exams will be considered while calculating the percentage. Students scoring less than 33% will have to reappear for the examination.
How to check CBSE Board 12th Result 2025?
The students can check the results at home online. The results are uploaded on the official website of CBSE. Here we have shared the complete process to check the results online:
- The students have to visit the results.cbse.nic.in.
- When you open the link, you will see an option ‘CBSE 12th Result 2025’. Click on this option.
- A page will appear. On this page, you need to enter all the details like examination roll number, date of birth, or school number.
- After filling out all the required details, select the ‘Submit’ option.
- A page showing your result will appear on your desktop screen.
- Students can download the results and take a printout.
Students can also contact the school authorities to know the result. A list of school-wise results is shared with all the schools on their respective email IDs. CBSE also provides the documents like a marksheet, migration certificate, character certificate, and other documents on the Digilocker application.

Steps for CBSE Re-evaluation 2025
The students can apply for the revaluation if they think they did not get the expected result. The students can apply for revaluation only after the results are revealed. Here we have shared the process of revaluation:
- The first step is you need to search for cbse.gov.in.
- An option will appear on your screen that is ‘Apply for Revaluation”. Click on this option.
- Now a page will appear, and you have to select the option “Apply Online” and you need to fill in the required details.
- Choose the subjects you want to send for revaluation.
- Now pay the fees for each subject you have selected for revaluation. The payment can be made online only.
- Now click on the submit button.
The board will notify you when the results are ready. You can check the results on the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education.
